The app, available for iOS and Android devices can let you control your refrigerator from anywhere in the world, and offers many options for customizing. It will also send notifications when the door is unlocked, when the fridge or freezer requires defrosting, and when the filter needs to be changed.

It would be great it GE PYE22PYNFS could offer Precise Fill, an option found in a few GE refrigerators that allow users to set the number of cups they would like to dispense. The fridge shows a countdown to show you how much water remains however it's not as useful as Precise Fill.

This is a solid performance but does not quite make it to the top of our rankings.
