2. Injectors
Yesterday, as i was accelerating off the highway paytoll at maximum speed I noticed a significant reduction in power. It was as if the engine was running out of gas. Or my injectors weren't firing. In the morning, i removed the spark plugs, three were drenched in gazoline, the 4th one was dry. I placed a tissue over each hole in the injector and when I turn the engine on without sparks, the 3 with gazoline jump right out. The fourth one remains shut. I checked the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30 and 48/55. I found zero ohm. I'm assuming the issue is elsewhere.
I also tried to reset the PID but with no luck. The car will start when the G28 is unplugged, and it is running fine with the G28 connected. However, the intermittent misfire problem persists at higher RPM. The coolant sensor (G62) even when unplugged, still shows temperatures of -49c. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bar when the actual pressure is 0.
I'm not certain what to do, i feel i have pretty much completely ruled out all other possibilities. But i am afraid I might have missed something. Let me know If you have any suggestions! TIA!
