This is the fifth film in the Indiana Jones series. 15 years have passed since the previous film, "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."

The story begins with Indiana Jones and the Nazis fighting over an ancient treasure during World War II. The mysterious power of the "dial" that was stolen at that time is what Indiana Jones and the Nazis fight over again in 1969, when mankind lands on the moon with the Apollo program.

The Nazis, Indiana Jones's sworn enemies, appear again as villains, but the story is a continuation of the beginning, and they fight against the remnants, avoiding monotony. The big boss is Dr. Forrer, who has a connection with the "dial," and I think the setting of him cooperating with the Apollo program is modeled after Dr. von Braun.

The actor is Le Chiffre from "007 Casino Royale." The elderly Indiana Jones' partner is Helena Shaw, the daughter of Dr. Basil, his comrade who also stole the "dial." In the film, it is said that the son who appeared in the previous film died after joining the army.

The mystery of the "dial" at the end is as ridiculous as the previous film, where ET appears, and there was a risk that the story would fall apart completely, but without any complicated details, Helen Shaw knocks Indiana Jones unconscious with one punch and the film ends.

Returning to the present day, Jones wakes up to find his ex-wife (who is also an actress) nursing him. The two confirm their love once again.... Happily ever after!

Considering the actors' real ages, I thought it was a good idea to start the film with World War II, and have the characters, who are older, and their daughters (?) fight over the treasure again in the era of the moon landing.

I think it's best to ignore the details and just enjoy the end of this series.
