If you're required to mop, the mopping pad can be replaced with a wet one in just a few seconds.

2. iRobot Roomba

The iRobot Roomba X30 is a compact, sleek vacuum cleaner that can sweep floors. Its smart cleaning maps and fluid navigation make it simple to clean and effective in dealing with larger particles like pet hair. It also features a self-emptying dustbin with powerful suction and support for virtual boundaries. This is a feature that we haven't seen before on other robot vacuum/mop combination.

3. Roomba X40 from iRobot

This mop and vacuum combination has a sleek, circular design that appears much like a Roomba model than the bulky models of the rivals. It's among our most attractive looking robot vacuums. iRobot's latest flagship model also is among the most intelligent model, with features that are cutting-edge like Enhanced Dirt Detection Technology as well as future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that can autonomously wash mop pads).

It's also the only robotic vacuum/mop to score an absolute 10 out of 10 in our tests. The L20 Ultra is a top-of-the-range robot vacuum and mop with a variety of sophisticated features that will let you get rid of your chores. Like Ecovacs' range-topping X2 Omni and Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra, the L20 is designed to be a hands-off cleaning machine that takes the care of vacuuming and mopping, with a multifunction dock that automatically empty the vacuum's dust bin, fills its water tank, and washes and dries its mop pads.

The smart robot uses LIDAR and structured lighting to create floor plans and spot obstacles. It can navigate more efficiently than its premium competitors. It also has a front-mounted camera for real-time detection of hazards, although this wasn't quite foolproof in our testing and was often confused by power cords or other obstructions.

The vacuum cleaner comes with an maximum suction of 7,000 Pascals which is more than sufficient to complete the task. It also comes with "Intelligent Dirt Detection", that regulates the amount of time the vacuum works and also adjusts the frequency of cleaning for various areas of the house depending on the amount of dirt they are.
