It's Time To Forget Robot Hoover: 10 Reasons That You No Longer Need I…
본문

The best robot hoover can clean and mop without requiring your attention, and it will leave your floors clean. Its affordable price and high-end features (such as dirt detectors) are both positives.
Make sure you regularly check your robot's brushes for hair tangled and large debris and clean them as needed. Certain models also automatically empty the dust bin on board and then deposit it in a larger bin at the base. This helps reduce the amount of fine dust that is released into the air.
1. Roomba Q5 Pro
The Q5 Pro, and its more expensive sibling, the Q7 Max Series are among the most powerful robotic vacuums that we have tested. They are equipped with top-of-the-line motors which can produce up to 5,500 Pascals of suction force. Similar to other iRobots that are premium (including the top model), they use smart mapping to produce precise floorplans and avoid household obstacles such as cords and furniture legs. The robots also have the feature of Carpet Boost that increases its power when it senses dirt on the carpet.
Both the Q5 as well as the Q7 Max Series get very excellent scores in our bare floor tests and are particularly effective at cleaning pet hair. There are some issues, however, that prevent them from being our top option. One of the flaws of the Q5 is its navigation system doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance. It's therefore prone to get stuck on socks and shoes, and it couldn't navigate through rooms with a lot of people well in our tests. It also doesn't have a camera to see around corners.
It's still a great deal particularly if your home or office has a lot of bare floors and you want to save money. It's also quiet and can be used while you're at work or school. It lacks the edge-to-edge bare floor vacuuming feature that's offered in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. It's also less effective when it comes to mopping. It relies on disposable wet wipes, which don't stick well and aren't able to deal with dried-on debris. The Q5 does come with a self-emptying dock, though. If you're required to, the mopping pad can be swapped for an awe-inspiring one in a matter of minutes.
2. IRobot Roomba
The iRobot Roomba X30 packs impressive mopping and vacuuming capabilities into a sleek, compact package. Its quick navigation and smart cleaning maps make it quick to clean and efficient at taking on larger particles, such as pet hair. It also features an impressive suction system and a self-emptying bin. It's the best robot vacuum for carpets, but it lags behind some competitors in deep cleaning.
This top-performing mop and vacuum combination makes use of advanced sensors to dodge obstacles and pet waste, and it will learn your home's layout over time to provide more efficient cleaning. The app allows you to modify zones and alter the cleaning schedule. Its battery life is average in comparison to similar models.
When the X30 Ultra is in a carpeted space, you can tell it to pull back and extend its mop. This will help prevent cross contamination. Its flex arm can also be utilized to reach under furniture with low levels and along baseboards. It's not as effective on the washboard as our other Editors' Choice Picks, the Ecovacs Ozmo N8Pro+ and the iRobot Combo j9+.
During tests, the X30 Ultra was the fastest robot vacuum/mop in the market to clean an entire house, finishing with only 66 percent of its battery left. It also did a good job of cleaning a mix of rooms and floors with different flooring types, including some area rugs. Its obstacle detection was excellent and it was able to avoid fake dog turds, socks, shoes and bundles cables.
It's more expensive than iRobot Combo v9+ or iRobot Roomba j9+ but it has superior suction and an onboard bin that is automatically empty into the base. It also supports voice commands through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It even cleans the floor after it vacuums it, something we've not seen on other robot vacuum/mop combinations.
3. IRobot Roomba X40
With a sleek, circular design that looks more like a regular Roomba than the competition's compact models, this mop and robot vacuum is among the most appealing looking in our evaluations. The latest flagship model from iRobot is also the most intelligent. It has advanced features like Enhanced Dirt Detection as well as future compatibility (another company’s robot that can wash mop pads on its own).
It's also the only robotic vacuum/mop to score an absolute 10 out of 10 in our tests. This is thanks to a combination modern sensors, including a restructured light system, camera, and a variety of lasers. The X40 Ultra is also the only robot we tested that can fully autonomously refill and empty its base station and it has an its own self-cleaning mop pads.
Like other iRobot models, the X40 is user-friendly, with a simple mobile app interface, and integration with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit and Google Assistant. The only issue is that the X40 still a loud unit. This can be a concern in the mornings before work, or at night when you're trying to sleep.
It's also somewhat expensive, although it's not as expensive as the Ecovacs X2 Omni or the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra both of which are equally capable and better-looking. If you're willing with a bit more noise and some extra cost this is a powerful two-in-one that will delight most.
iRobot L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is the top-of-the best robot mop and vacuum. It has a number of advanced features that will make you forget about your chores. The L20 Ultra is a hands-free cleaner, similar to Ecovacs top-of-the-line X2 Omni or Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra. It features a multi-functional dock that can automatically empty the vacuum's bin, refills the water tank, as well as washes and dry the mop pads.
The smart robot uses LIDAR and structured lighting to map out floor plans and spot obstacles. It can navigate more efficiently than its top competitors. It also has a camera mounted on the front for [Redirect-302] real-time detection of hazards, although this wasn't quite foolproof in our testing and was often confused by power cords or other obstructions.
Its vacuum has a high maximum suction of 7,000 Pascals which is more than enough to finish the job. It also has an option called "Intelligent Dirt Detection", that regulates the power of the vacuum and adjusts the frequency of cleaning for various areas of the home based on how dirty those areas are.
For larger houses it's recommended to choose a model with spot or zone cleaning modes that let you tell the robot to clean one specific area of your home via the app or voice commands. A stair mode can be useful if you own a number of furniture. For families with busy schedules recharge functions and resume feature that allows your robot cleaner vacuum to resume where it left off could be very beneficial.
iRobot RX3
The RX3 is a more efficient cleaner than you would imagine from its price. It is a good vacuum cleaner, picking up 55% debris in our tests. (It was only second to the Roomba Q5 Pro). It also mopses using one pad and a reciprocating motion which is cleaner than the majority mop cleaners for robots that we've examined. It's also extremely self-sufficient, with a full-featured app and a self emptying base that is washable.
The well-designed iRobot app guides you through an initial mapping run that gathers information about your floorplan and any "no-go" areas you have marked on the map. You can use it to create cleaning schedules, set up an area for cleaning or to prioritize your most filthy rooms for better performance. The app also grants access to many features like seasonal suggestions, custom maps, and advanced settings for your cleaning.
It is also able to reach corners and under furniture more easily because its shape is more rectangular. It features a powerful 8,000 Pascal suction and sophisticated combs that remove pet hair. You can also set up a spot clean that intensely cleans a localized area.
The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision HD is a sleeker and cheaper alternative to the iRobot Roomba. It has a more attractive, Dolce & Gabbana-esque design and its twin cameras appear like cute eyes. It does a good job vacuuming but is more prone to be caught by low thresholds and is a bit noisier than the other top robot vacuums we've examined. It also comes with an app that's less intuitive, and Robot Vacuum Cleaner Reviews a smaller base station that can't double as a bin for emptying.
